Not a bad scene, the mountain itself looks very good, but the mixture of snow and exposed rock seems too artificial at this point.
I think the main way of dealing with it is to scale up the mixing function that's used to determine the combination of snow and mountain rock so that way you get larger variations instead of a "noise" of smaller ones, this will create a more natural look (maybe look at some photo's if it helps) Also make some slope-dependency in the mixed material options too (or more of it if you already have some) to encourage snow to appear more densely on the gentler slopes and less on the steep and rough areas.
The lighting and atmosphere looks great though, does look like a lot of sunset-mountain pictures I've seen and the terrain itself is good too. It's just the monotonous material distribution gives it away as a digital piece
This is a very nice piece I must say, the mountain itself looks amazingly done. But I do have to agree with with the mixture of snow and exposure of rock it does seem quite artificial.
However I do think that the natural look that you are going for is very well done, and I myself as an artist have no room to talk. I'm no where near your level, but I do have to say that it is extremely magnificent. I can't keep my eyes off of this piece.
The last thing I have to say over all is, keep up the fantastic work
Thank you very much for those comments on my image. I am glad that you was interested about it .The technique is learned with the work and experience comes with multiple trials and errors. Be patient, courageous and persevering. See you soon.
You forgot that one strip of bright white at the bottom center... it looks like you used photoshop to copy and paste that there, especially since its pasted on top of dark grass or dirt. Everything else is simply splendid
Thank you for this review but you look at things too fast and your single point of view. I pointed out that there was no post production in this picture, because it's important for fans of 3D software. There is therefore no photoshop in this picture and no grass, neither at this altitude.
